back from area atc/survival camp :D

this yr's area atc is.. hmm rather short i think.
first day do nothing but land ex a.k.a treasure hunt and pitch tent
third day do nothing but RT and area clean-up D:
so actually its only abt 2 days long. haha.

shall talk briefly abt each day (:

first day -- 10/6/08
met sqms in school at 9.30.. dunno for what also =_= reach sch.. waited for sqms' arrival.. then when everyone reached everyone dint know what we were supposed to do -.- okay some sqms thought that we were going to do campfire stuff D: but considering the fact that we just put in the batch of firewood the day before.. abit -.- to take out right? yes. okay so.. nothing to do lor -_- then went to eat lunch at coro. as usual. lala.

okay blahblahblah in between...
then reached pulau ubin ! i think pulau ubin very nice lor :D we shld go there one day as a sqd for fun... yea. okay nono rewind. at the changi jetty there this sec 3 sji guy (okay i know his name liao but i shall not reveal his identity -.-) suddenly exclaimed "omg __(full name)___ is here! we are going to dieee." haha his tone damn funny lah. somemore he was sitting in front of us =__= anw this concluded that ___ is very well-known o_o

okay back to pulau ubin.. first thing we reached there something happened which made me felt very.....aiya i dunno what feeling but i really really respect her (: i think her sincerity touched alot of sqms present too. anw can see that is not 她想做的事 even though she really made the whole atmosphere very tense D: like who in the right mind does peace by the river silently on a bumboat. but then she really very... ___ (fill in your own words) she is that kind that can demand respect but she can command it and she deserves it. okay nvm =_= i dont think im really talking alot of sense here but nvm. sqms should understand what im talking abt (: this is called the problem of blogging. you dont know who is reading out there so cannot reveal alot of details D:

next.. got split up into grps and started off with treasure hunt. haha. i was with hong (: our grp only had 3 girls at first lah D: but 2 more came after that. so..not bad lah. haha. treasure hunt nothing much one lah. also dunno why its called treasure hunt D: just walk here walk there then find things at some checkpoints. nothing much. nothing much reminds me of some stupid thing -_- nvm. yea.. then walked to camp noordin.

lala standard procedures then pitched tents.. nothing much =_=

oh yea and got mock campfire. haha it was considerably quite high :D somemore the sirs behind very funny O_O so.. yea lor. compared to last year's mock campfire ah.. stark constrast man. o_O come to think of it the mock campfire like higher than the actual campfire . . .

oh then we gave ourselves the grp name chicken little coz the theme was disney. haha. it almost became cinderalla coz no one could think of anything but the guys obviously objected -_- aiya i also object liao lor not to mention the guys =_=

oh yes and our instructor/C.I. was shuo yan sir (< still dunno whether spell correctly or not -.-) he's quite nice lah (: oh then it rained for the night ): so we slept in some other place.

i should name all my grpmates too :D

second day -- 11/6/08
woke up and found the dunno-what-its-called-flies (the kind that hdb flats ground floor will have alot when it rains during the night) littered all over the campsite. damn disgusting lah. some alive most dead. mostly wings -_- the toilet outside area the whole patch of ground got so many of them cannot even walk through. o_O

then pt. okay lah. dint run since the floor was wet so.. just did the 5BX repeatedly...

then after breakfast was IRC. but because it started drizzling (!!!) we ended up stoning for dunno how long. then by the time we started IRC like left maybe one hr so our whole grp dint get to do ): wah so sad leh ): i wanted to try ): even though it looks very scary D:

then...what ah. oh lunch o_o haha.

then after lunch was jetty jump!!!! very fun lor! haha. the only time i felt scared was when we walked along the board thing. coz like very unstable haha but when i jumped i was feeling totally 平静 haha. the jump felt very long though D: even though it looks very short. one of my grpmates (forgot who -.-) said he/she was wondering why it was so long and opened his/her eyes and then splashed into the water with his/her eyes wide open -.=
we had time to go again leh! but then hoh. that lim jing hong and zakiah dint want to go again ): then aiya i decided not to go (:

then then then fire starting (: it was fun too :D even though the smoke was very irritating to the eyes and i was like crying at the end of it =_= but it was fun :D fire is very pretty (: and our small grp managed to let the fire sustain for quite a while (: and we used 3 matchsticks only leh! haha. :D

tunneling was okay lah. feeling neutral towards it. the guys damn funny lah -_- then coz we split into 3 grps then our grp was all girls so this girl called shermaine led the way and then got the forked part she went to 'check out the path' then she started screaming like siao scare me to death. but then also not very scary o_o it was just.. dark. i was expecting...more. coz the guys say very scary D: maybe if we went to the dead end it would be more interesting. haha.

next was..shelter building. this one ah. not fun one D: like nothing much one lor. just go into the jungle and be the mosquito's food only -_- okay lah got build shelter. but still... like nothing much o_o

after shelter building we had time to wash up and had dinner.. normal wash up normal dinner. nothing much.

ohh then campfire prep! :D our grp got nothing much to do haha since we already planned the performance during the stoning time earlier in the day then we just rehearsed like.. twice? then we started 自highing down there. somemore the grp i/c jia xun was super funny then everyone in the grp keep going yes-sir-ing to everything he say. -.=

then campfire! it started off rather highly considering the fact that our whole grp was zi highing just before that o_o but then for some reason the atmosphere got lower and lower and deader. even the friendship dance also not high lor. i rmbed last year the friendship dance and the thousand legged worm was chao high. but then this year.. maybe got too many grps need to perform liao then we dint do thousand legged worm. then square dance also not very high coz my area there not even in the circle -_-
oh yea the eppo e tai tai was funny leh. but then all the sec 2s all stoning down there then we were opposite them so abit er.. weird. haha the actions are quite fun though. although its hard to rmb but actually do a few more times then can rmb liao.

our grp performance quite no storyline haha but then it was supposed to be zi high lah so. but then again during our rehearsals also more high o_o haha. fmc wants to know the 'dance' hoho shall not tell her :X is this julian guy teach one. haha. it was originally his house cheer i think D: and one of our grp cheers also he teach one. all very zi high haha.

nothing much worth remembering until we went to sleep.
oh found that my bag was infested with ants wth. coz i forgot to zip before campfire hehh. and i almost threw away my can opener because of the stupid ants. coz lights going to be out liao then the toilet was at the other end of the campsite so cannot possibly run to wash right? yes. okay.

third day -- 12/6/08
woke up feeling alot happier haha. then RT and area clean up. nothing much. normal stuff. RT was abit.. er.. can it even be considered RT? like abit impromptu stuff.
area clean up was normal.

okay. yea. that's abt it.
went back to school, did campfire stuff, bathed, dilly-dally for a while then finally went to kap like almost 2hrs later. our sqd has an amazing ability to start doing something when everyone is finishing -.= in simpler terms, sqms has an amazing ability to dilly-dally -.- if not for the fact that we were starving we dunno what time then reach kap lor.

reached home and found dozens of ants still alive inside my bag. went on a killing spree then bathed (: ubin ants are somehow bigger than normal black ants D: can see all the 6 legs very clearly. haha. hmmm actually i dint kill alot of them. most of them i threw them down 5 storeys down.
and somehow when i go area atc im totally immune to ants . . . and a few days later it will be a different story. anw i conclude that i hate ants. coz they just keep coming ): at least like lizards only got one or two... and most of the time they stay on the wall.. so. haha.


ha. the 3rd week of the hols is almost gone. and my hw state remains the same. somemore tmr and sat got project meeting and monday have to do campfire stuff. then tues have to prep for school atc. then whole of next week gone again. this is what happens when you go for camps D: you go at the start of the week and come back realizing that the week is gone.
